Flos Duellatorum

The pages of Fiore dei Liberi’s Flos Duellatorum have now been made available for download from Wikimedia Commons as part of the Google Art Project. This is the most significant manuscript teaching the Italian style of fight during the late 14th/early 15th centuries.

It features a variety of weapon and wrestling skills for use both on foot and on horseback. Access to these images is invaluable for the modern student of historical fencing.
